Part-time Residential Associate at the Billy Shelper Center.  Approximately 20-24 hours per week.  Primarily 2^nd shift (2p-10p) on weeknights and alternating between 2^nd shift or 1^st shift (7a-3p) shift on Saturday and Sunday.

The ideal candidate will be a self starter who works well independently, has superb organization, the ability to multitask, clerical experience and a demonstrated ability to show hospitality to anyone who walks through our doors. Duties include checking-in visitors and volunteers, assisting with meeting basic client needs, and working with case management and social service staff. 

The Mission Mart Thrift Store in Lincoln is looking for a new part time sales associate to work 10 to 30 hours per week and join our fantastic team!

We’re not just looking for anyone but someone who feels called to serve our ministry in this special way. 100% of the net proceeds from our stores funds the homeless shelter at Home Sweet Home Ministries in Bloomington.

 Here are some things we need:

• Someone with a passionate, dynamic Christian faith.
• Solid experience working in retail.
• Great references and solid work history.
• Must be a team player- so we need someone who can work with all types of personalities.
• Strong work ethic- we need someone who can work fast, work hard and take initiative to get things done.
• Must be able to roll with the punches- we work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
• Must have a positive attitude- we need someone who believes the glass is always half full.
• Flexibility in scheduling is a MUST. Must be able to work Saturday’s. Our store is closed on Sunday.
• Fun- we work extremely hard so the ability to have fun while we work together and stage events for the public is key to our success.
